With an eye on the estimated 75 million baby boomers on the verge on retirement (equal to around 10,000 people each day), Golf Life Real Estate (GLRE) will officially open for business on January 20. The real estate technology company is promising to redefine digital marketing in the golf space and “give customers better ways to find, evaluate and select golf lifestyle real estate experts.”

Based in Boston, the startup aims to serve both real estate professionals looking to market a client’s golf property, and private owners in search of an “affordable, effective way to promote a golf home for sale or rent.” The realty pros, to be known as “Golf Life Concierges,” must have 20 years of real estate experience to become GLRE certified.

Golf Life Real Estate is built around three pillars:

  1. a database of the most exclusive golf communities and properties in the world;
  2. IDX for compiling the most comprehensive and up-to-date property listing data; and
  3. User tools for both consumers and real estate professionals.

Company founders believe the combination of state-of-the-art technology, bespoke marketing strategies, a trusted network and proven experience in the golf space will propel transactions of “the most significant golf properties in the marketplace.”

“Golf Life Real Estate helps each of our customers find a golf community or home that best fits their personal budget, golfing habits and family lifestyle,” said Paul Daly, CEO.  GLRE’s property database will enable digitally-oriented customers find second homes and communities “with which they’re most compatible and comfortable,” Daly added.
The GLRE database will contain detailed information on each listing, including community size and history, location relative to other amenities, golf course design and playability, membership options, facility and clubhouse features, and home sales history.
