Reston, VA (December 9, 2020) – Meridian Knowledge Solutions today announced that Northwest Multiple Listing Service (“NWMLS”) has upgraded their Meridian LMS™ and increased the number of learners on the platform, which serves more than 30,000 real estate brokers across 2,400 member offices in Washington state.
Education is a core service for NWMLS, as it supports its growing membership base. NWMLS provides numerous classes and webinars to help real estate professionals utilize the organization’s robust technology products. Many classes also provide clock hours (continuing education credits) for a small fee, as real estate brokers and appraisers are required to renew their licenses every 2 years.

When the spread of COVID-19 curtailed face-to-face activities, NWMLS used the flexibility of Meridian LMS to hold live classes online rather than in-person.
“We are now able to offer virtual instructor-led classes for clock hour credit,” said Tara Marino, Director of Communications & Training. “We were previously able to offer self-paced online classes, but this new option allows our membership to virtually interact with their instructor during the course.”
Having recently upgraded their Meridian LMS, NWMLS is now turning their attention toward new ways to improve their members’ learning experience. This includes an ongoing collaboration with the Meridian team to further enhance the platform.
