Who is Northwest Multiple Listing Service?
Founded in 1984, Northwest Multiple Listing Service ("NWMLS") is a not-for-profit, member-owned organization created to facilitate cooperation among its member real estate firms. NWMLS provides an array of products and services to assist brokers in providing real estate brokerage services to consumers in the Pacific Northwest. With more than 2,500 member offices and 33,000 real estate brokers across Washington state, the organization's broad offerings include a property listing system, mobile applications, an online showing appointment scheduling service, statewide public real property database, online forms and electronic signature service, cloud storage, data analytics, keybox services, 21 service centers, and related customer support & training. The purpose of the NWMLS is to benefit the community in which NWMLS acts. The members of NWMLS will operate and maintain ethical relationships among themselves and with the public. NWMLS will at all times act to improve the standing of real estate brokerages in the community and to better serve the public in all real estate transactions.
Membership Service Area
NWMLS is one of the largest member-owned multiple listing services in the United States and the largest MLS in the Northwest. The organization, based in Kirkland, Washington, currently serves 26 counties. NWMLS staff supports 21 member service centers throughout its coverage area.
As a member-owned organization, NWMLS is guided by a Board of Directors, which is comprised of Designated Brokers and Branch Manager Brokers. Additionally, NWMLS members may volunteer for various committees, task forces, and advisory groups to assist the Board of Directors with business decisions.
