What is an MLS?
A multiple listing service is an organization of real estate brokerages who agree to collaborate to better serve the public in all real estate transactions.
The purpose of the NWMLS is to benefit the community in which NWMLS acts. The members of NWMLS will cooperate and maintain ethical relationships among themselves and with the public. NWMLS will at all times act to improve the standing of real estate brokerages in the community and to better serve the public in all real estate transactions.
Membership Service Area
The largest MLS in the region, NWMLS has more than 2,600 member-offices and 33,000 real estate brokers throughout Washington state. NWMLS operates 21 service centers and serves 26 counties, providing dedicated support to its members and fostering a robust, cooperative brokerage environment.
As a member-owned organization, NWMLS is guided by a Board of Directors, which is comprised of Designated Brokers and Branch Manager Brokers. Additionally, NWMLS members may volunteer for various committees, task forces, and advisory groups to assist the Board of Directors with business decisions.
